  5. Report Online Behavior: If you are worried about your friends’ social media updates, please contact social media directly and report their posts through the social media network.
  6. Find a health or treatment provider: The treatment of mental illness usually includes therapy, medication or a combination of both. The treatment can be done in person, by phone or with the help of a computer. When seeking mental health care, it can be difficult to know where to start, but there are many ways to find a provider that suits your needs. Your primary care practitioner can be an important resource, providing initial mental health screenings and referrals to mental health specialists. If you have an appointment with your primary care provider, consider bringing up your mental health concerns and asking for help.
